    PLEASE READ:this doll was purchased at an estate sale run by the family of the original owner.the lady who now owned it is in her early 80s and it was in the family long before she got it.the doll is 27 inches tall-her face is made of what appears to be a hard papier mache construction-it is clean,original and a womderful detailed face indeed.the body is a hard body with a cloth finish.it is jointed both legs and shoulders-I have taken photos of both.the clothes are original and nicely detailed-light rim wear on the dress but it displays well and would hard to be upgraded in any way.there are no odors.the hair is nice-the stitching on the hands and legs appears primitive and the doll is offered as an early doll-I have seen other items in the collection and this is the best-ABSOLUT HIGHLIGHT OF ANY COLLECTION-MUSEUM QUALITY!
